Teme Weirs Trust

The Objectives adopted by the Trust are to restore and maintain the Weirs, to protect the rivers ecology established over 800 years and to enhance cultural, historic, scenic and recreational elements enjoyed by local residents and visitors.

The weirs along the river Teme, to the west and south of the town, are one of the aesthetic delights of Ludlow.
They are also a striking and picturesque reminder of the town’s industrial heritage.

Shropshire's Great Outdoors

On this website you will find lots of promoted routes for walking, cycling and riding across the county, from The Shropshire Way. Plus there are details of other activities you can do in the great outdoors.

St.Giles Church, Ludford

Overlooking the picturesque River Teme, we are a small church with a big heart - welcoming, busy, comfortable and warm!  With our five sister churches in the Ashfords Benefice we offer a range of styles of worship, often followed by social time and seasonal refreshments.  Recent special services have included Celtic and Lutheran liturgy, Candlemas, and the agricultural year celebrations of Plough Sunday, Rogation and Lammas.  St. Giles' is fully accessible for those with restricted mobility, and caters for a range of physical and intellectual disabilities.
